Who Rules The Nations During the Millennium?
If the Reader is a Pastor, especially a Pre-Trib Pastor, you know that Pre-Trib Dispensationalism was founded on the view that the Church and Israel are completely different and have totally separate programs and purposes. If not for the Pre-Trib notion that Israel absolutely MUST someday rule all other nations of the world, there would be no Dispensationalism and no Pre-Tribulation Theory. Everyone having the slightest knowledge of the Rapture Theory knows absolutely that Pre-Trib stands or falls based on this. In spite of the fact that Jesus repeatedly warned the Jewish leaders that they would be rejected if they continued in their persistence in trying to discredit and kill Him, Pre-Trib Dispensationalism continues to insist that the Jewish Nation has not been replaced with a, "Nation bearing fruit." Pre-Trib Dispensationalsm insists that God promised Israel they'd someday rule the world. The Pre-Trib Oxymoron comes in the form of how these promises will be granted the Jews during the Millennium while, at the same time, according to many Pre-Trib Promoters, it will actually be the Raptured Church people who will rule the Nations. If the Reader will do an Internet Search concerning this, the result will be that there's no definitive and clear consensus among Pre-Trib Promoters. Some give no information whatsoever as to what they believe the role of the Raptured Church people will be during the Millennium while others declare that the Raptured Church people, since they will be the, "Bride of Christ," will be totally in command of all nations in the Millennial Kingdom, including the Jews. Pre-Trib Promoters taking this position seem to have completely forgotten the foundational Pre-Trib Doctrine declaring that the only purpose of the Millennial Kingdom is to reward the Jews by having them be in charge. A careful look at the Old Testament prophecies and promises to the Jews clearly shows the Jews even making slaves of the nations that had oppressed them. So, today's Pre-Trib Promoters must decide on which side of this they stand. Are the Jews going to be rewarded by being in command during the Millennium, or, will it be the Raptured Church People? It is an Oxymoron Pre-Trib must confront.  As we will see further in this Blogsite, this Pre-Trib dilemma creates many more un-Answered and Un-Answerable Questions for Pre-Trib; Oxymorans within Oxymorans. The Bible Prophecies concerning who will, "Reign with Christ for a thousand years" (Rev.20:4-6), is undeniably clear. However, Pre-Trib has a version of their own. To accept all Bible Prophecies concerning this would require setting aside pretty much the whole of Pre-Trib Dispensationalism. Let's look closer, and when we do, we will discover many more Oxymoron situations:

"So Shall We Ever Be with the Lord"
Wherever Jesus will be during the Millennium, there also will be everyone that is resurrected when He comes to take His people to Heaven, to the, "Mansions," He has prepared for them. In other words, the "First Resurrection." In a moment we'll see that, in spite of Pre-Trib's declaration, the Priests during the time of the Millennium will NOT be mortal Jews from the tribe of Levi, and only descendants of the Priest Zadok. These Priests, according to Revelation, will include many who were beheaded during the Tribulation, something Pre-Trib says cannot happen. The living saved at that time will also be included: "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1Thess.4:17).  It is that phrase, "Ever be with the Lord," that creates part of Pre-Trib's Oxymoron. Wherever Jesus will be during the Millennium, those who, "Meet Him in the air," will be there with Him. If Jesus is going to set up a Millennial Kingdom here on earth for the purpose of rewarding the Jews, and if He is going to be here on earth throughout this thousand years, then the Church Age/Grace Age people must be here also. One Pre-Trib Promoter has a Website in which he claims the Raptured Saints will commute back and forth from earth to the Mansions Jesus prepared for them in Heaven. He says that because they are in their new Glorified bodies, this will be a matter of mere seconds. Is all of this confusing? It is absolutely! There is a solution:

Solution
Why not accept that when Jesus comes, He will resurrect all of the saved from earth, from all ages, and take all of the living saved with them to the, "Place He has prepared for them in His Father's House" (See Jn.14:1-3)We'll look more at this in a moment.

Bride of Christ
The whole subject of the Bride of Christ is filled with Contradictory Oxymoron Views for Pre-Trib. We have a Blogsite called "The Bride of Christ," that looks at this. The most shocking Contradictory Pre-Trib View about the Bride of Christ has to do with their Seven Dispensations. According to Pre-Trib, God has divided the existence of this Planet into seven time segments called "Dispensations." Again, according to Pre-Trib, during six of these seven Dispensations God required, and will require, obedience to Him. However, and again according to Pre-Trib, during one of these Dispensations, Pre-Trib calls it the "Grace Dispensation," God actually requires His people to set aside obedience in favor of "Grace."  If the Reader is a member of a Pre-Trib congregation, but has not studied the Doctrines carefully, you may say we are completely incorrect. But, if the Reader is a Pastor, you know all about this and know it is true. You have probably preached sermons in which you verified that "We are no longer under the Law, but under Grace, thus, for now the Law is set aside." You also remember preaching that, after the Rapture, the Jews, and all who become believers in Jesus, will once again be under the Law and must obey all 10 of the Commandments, including the Sabbath Commandment. Pastor, if you have not been preaching this, you are not following Pre-Trib Doctrines as presented in College and University Textbooks and the Scofield Study Bibles.

Pastor, is it possible that there are vast numbers of people thinking they are part of the Bride of Christ, when in fact they are being set up to be a part of the Great Harlot John saw in Revelation? Surly the Bride of Christ will be the most honored group of people during the Millennium. So, we must ask, who is the Millennium really for?  Is it to reward the Jews with the blessings they missed throughout the Old Testament times and the blessings they missed because they rejected Jesus as their Messiah? If this is confusing, it wouldn't be if we accepted what Paul said: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are ALL one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise" (Gal.3:28-19). The solution is to accept what Paul wrote and accept that, during the Millennium, "All are one." Thus when Jesus comes, He will take all, Jews and Gentiles, to the Mansions in His Father's House. This eliminates all confusion and all Oxymorons.

"Let him that is Filthy be Filthy Still"
As Jesus was ending His Visions He gave to John while on the Isle of Patmos, He said, "Behold I come Quickly, and My reward is with Me to give every man according as his work shall be" (Rev.22:12). We will look closer at that phrase, "give EVERY man," in a moment, but first let's look at something Jesus said at the same time: "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still. "Behold I come Quickly, and My reward is with Me to give every man according as his work shall be" (Rev.22:11-12). By using the term, "Come Quickly," Jesus was obviously referring to the very next time He would return to earth. We suggest there will be no "Two Phase" Coming of Jesus. We believe the very next time Jesus comes, it will be His Second Coming. The Scofield footnotes and margin try to say that Jesus here is not referring to what they call the Rapture, but rather Christ's Second Coming. The fact that Jesus said He will "Reward EVERY man," makes it clear that He will indeed reward every man. Pre-Trib's version of the rewarding of people declares there will be two comings of Jesus, and that at each, there will be rewards given. Pre-Trib says there'll be a Rapture at which time the Grace Age/Church Age people will receive their reward of going to Heaven and becoming the Bride of Christ. Later, says Pre-Trib, after the Tribulation, Jesus will come again and this time He will reward those who were, "Left Behind," and have become Christian Believers. Again, according to Pre-Trib, the Jews who are alive at Christ's Second Coming will hear Him say, "Come ye Blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (Matt.25:34). Pre-Trib, according to the Scofield footnotes under this Scripture Passage, says the, "Blessed of His Father," are the mortal Jews that were left behind when Jesus Raptured His Church. Pre-Trib says these Jews have survived the Tribulation and have become Christian Believers after the Church has been Raptured. There are three glaring Oxymorans here. Let's look at each.
  • The Scripture from which this comes is the parable/prophecy Jesus gave concerning the Sheep and the Goats. Let's read it: "When the Son of man shall come in His Glory, and all the holy Angels with Him, then He shall sit upon the Throne of His Glory. And before Him shall be gathered all the nations; and He shall separate them as a shepherd divideth his Sheep from the Goats. And He shall set the Sheep on His right hand, but the Goats on the left. Then shall the the King say to them on His right hand, Come ye Blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (Matt.25:31-34). Dear Reader, go back and read this one more time and see whether or not Jesus will be addressing the Sheep on His Right hand. Jesus is absolutely speaking to the Sheep. And who does Pre-Trib say the Sheep are? If you have a Scofield Reference Bible, read the footnote under this passage. The footnote says clearly that the, "Sheep are the saved Gentiles" that have been kind to the Jews during the Tribulation. Would Jesus say, "Come ye Blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world," to Gentiles based only on their treatment of the Jews during the Tribulation? According to Pre-Trib, this will be said directly to the Jews themselves, not Gentiles that have treated the Jews kindly.
  • The next Oxymoron has to do with who the real, "Blessed of His Father," will really be at this time. Will it really be the Jews who were rejecting Jesus when He came to take His people to Heaven; rejecting Jesus as their Savior until such time they are plunged into the greatest Time of Trouble in the history of the world; Jews who, under these dire conditions finally realized they had no choice? Or, would the, "Blessed of His Father," be those who will be, at this time, His Bride? The answer is all too obvious!
  • The final Oxymoron here comes in the form of something Jesus said to end His Parable/Prophecy. Pre-Trib is very emphatic that the Sheep are Gentiles that are being allowed to enter the Millennial Kingdom based on their treatment of the Jews. Pre-Trib says the Jews are neither Sheep or Goats, but are the, "Brethren," mentioned in the following: "And the King shall answer and say unto them, "verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My Brethren, ye have done it unto Me" (Vs.40). Pre-Trib insists that the Jews (Brethren) and the Gentiles (Sheep) that inherit and enter this Millennial Kingdom will still be in their mortal bodies; still have the ability to marry and bear children. Pre-Trib has accepted that those who are resurrected and have their Glorified bodies will not marry and bear children. They have no choice. Jesus clearly said such. See Luke 20:34-36. Concerning the Sheep and the Goats, Jesus said, "And these (the Goats) shall go away into everlasting Punishment, but the righteous (Sheep) into Life Everlasting" (Vs. 46). The solution: We must accept that everyone entering the Millennium will do so in their Everlasting Life Glorified Bodies, or we must dispute the words of Jesus.
Every Contradictory View concerning the Bible can be solved by accepting the help of the Holy Spirit and prayerfully studying the subject from the Scriptures. In this case, accepting that, when Jesus comes to take His people to the, "Place in His Father's House that He has prepared for them" (See Jn.14:1-3), just before He returns He will declare, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still" (Rev.22:11), and, when Jesus, "Comes Quickly, He will reward every man" (Vs.12). We must accept also that when Jesus comes everyone entering the Millennium will be given "Life Eternal." If we do this, there'll be no Contradictory Views!

Who'll Be in Charge of the Millennial Temple?
This is another Pre-Trib View that contradicts itself and contradicts Scripture. For a much more complete look at Pre-Trib's futile attempt to make the Temple in Ezekiel's vision be the Temple John was shown in Revelation, see "Exekiel's Temple Vision." There we look at eight points Pre-Trib must overcome concerning the Temple of the Millennium. Following is an abbreviated look.

Millennial Priests
Pre-Trib declares that all Millennial Priests will be Jews, and they must be Jews that will be descendants of the Jewish Priest, Zadok. But John saw something quite different. He wrote: "And I saw thrones and they [Millennial Priests ] sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and who had not worshiped the Beast (Antichrist) neither his image, neither received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands, and lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years" Rev.20:4).  We injected "Millennial Priests" because in verse 6 John wrote, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death hath no power, but they shall PRIESTS of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years" (Vs.6).

So far it is obvious that Pre-Trib must at least Ponder their position about the Millennial Priests. In a moment we'll see that John said these "Priests" will be from, "every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation" (Rev.5:9). So far we know that the Millennial Priests will be from people that have been "beheaded," thus they will have been resurrected, and John said they'll be in the "First Resurrection." Nowlet's look at 3 Positions Pre-Trib stands on concerning Resurrections and Millennial Priests:
First - They claim the Tribulation occurs AFTER the First Resurrection.
Second - They say the Priests in Ezekiel's Temple are MORTALS, thus they've not died and been resurrected.
Third - They teach that all of the Priests in the Millennial Temple are from the Tribe of Levi, and specifically from the descendants of the Levite Priest Zadok.

However, John saw Millennial Priests from all Nations, not just Jews from the Tribe of Levi. He wrote, "Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth"(Rev.5:9-10). The Scofield Bible Footnotes say that the last sentence in the above text is best translated, "And hast made us unto our God a Kingdom of Priests." We agree that this the best translation, and it best fits the context.

In contrast to what John saw, Ezekiel was shown in vision who the priests would be in the Temple he prophesied about:  "But the priests, the Levites the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister unto Me, and they shall stand before Me to offer unto Me the fat and the blood (animal sacrifice), saith the Lord God" (Ez.44:15). John and Ezekiel saw two entirely different visions; different Priests, in different times!

In this Blogsite we have barely scratched the surface of the Bible proofs showing that the Pre-Trib position must be reexamined. We have a Blogsite called "Ezekeil's Temple Vision" that uncovers 8 reasons Ezekiel and John did not see the same Temple. The "Priests" John wrote about appear to be all of the Redeemed acting as some kind of Priests during that first thousand years. However, John was shown that there will be "NO Temple" in New Jerusalem after it "comes down from God out of Heaven" (Rev.21:2). "And I saw no Temple in it: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it" (Rev.21:22).

John was shown a Temple in Heaven many times during his visions on Patmos. From everything we can know from Scripture about the first thousand years of God's Kingdom, there will be a Temple, but after Jerusalem descends to earth at the end of the thousand years, there will be no temple. We could surmise from this that the first thousand years will be a time in which the Redeemed can look at the record Books. Perhaps we will then be allowed to see why certain people were not among the Redeemed; people we assumed would be saved. We have only scratched the surface of the Contradictory Pre-Trib Views concerning the Temples Ezekiel and John saw. For a complete study, see Blogsite, "Ezekiel's Temple Vision."
